I know, it’s been a while since the last post. Sorry. I’ve been sick and out of town and sick while out of town. NOT the flu, just sinus ickiness. I’m now on numerous prescriptions, so I’m kind of afraid to post anything lest it be rather more odd than usual. Like, do you ever marvel at the speed and efficiency with which the human body can produce snot? I’m on the mend, though, and will be back with something amazing, fascinating, or at least moderately amusing to share soon.
Meanwhile, I have to go take another ginormous pill. It says to take it with food…I’m thinking I’ll thaw a hunk of the chocolate cake in the freezer. Chocolate is medicinal, right?
If someone is wondering why I am giggling behind my computer screen, it is because I now have that question, “do you ever marvel at the speed and effciency with which the human body can produce snot,” in my mind. It reminds me of the wierd and off the wall kind of things my husband I do in our goofiest mood like toss our socks at the fan to see which one loops over the blade and hangs on. I think you ought to eat that chocolate cake. It’s God’s manna. Eat it. Sweep away the guilt and really milk the illness by watching old black and white movies while cuddled under a nice quilt. lol. I hope you get better.
Oh Nikki, thank you for the new hobby! Sock-tossing sounds like a great way to pass the time. I’m sure the cats would join in, too. Henry briefly fell in love with the fan pull in my bedroom a while back. He would sit on the bed and sing feline love songs, all the while gazing adoringly up at this little blue knob-thing. I love him, but I have to admit–that boy ain’t right.
