Sheree, the genius behind Museware Pottery saw my post about the beautiful plate she designed & made and sent me a picture!
Since I’ve turned into a post-vacation slug (mostly due to my unbelievably wonderful hammock chair) and the plate now resides at Vikki’s house, it’s a good thing Sheree sent the picture. Otherwise, y’all would have just had to continue imagining it and the odds of getting it right would be slim. Even with the picture you have to imagine that it’s more beautiful in real life, because it is.
Sheree tells me this piece dates from the days when she was “painting, glazing, firing, packing and shipping everything” all by herself. She’s a big business now, with 4—count ’em 4!—employees in New Hampshire.
Hmmm, I’ve never been to New Hampshire…but I digress.
Thanks, Sheree! So glad that plate happened along when we did.
For more of her fabulous stuff, you can check out her Web site (http://www.musewarepottery.com —don’t go to museware.com, it’s the site for a college opera company, though I don’t understand why.) You will want to read Sheree’s hilarious blog and buy many, many plates and platters and things. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
